Urban Farm Volunteers, come join us in our initiative to urban farming. We need community volunteers, especially the youth and seniors of our neighborhood, to help grow organic fruits and vegetables. Participants get to reap the benefits of what the sow – meaning take home what you grow. The produce is also utilized by local restaurant Marathon Grill. To get involved visit your local CDC or other community organizations or call Patrick Dunn (Farmer Director) at 215-282-1505 or James Carter (GBCDC President) at 215-769-5220.
